What materials is Hayabusa T3 made of?

Yes, the gloves aren’t officially made of leather; instead, they’re made of an animal-free material that, according to Hayabusa, performed much better in tests against the normal wear and tear that gloves face. When you touch the gloves, you can tell it’s not quite the same as real, high-grade leather, but you wouldn’t be able to tell just by looking at them, and I have to say, out of all the synthetic leathers we’ve tried, Vylar is by far the most realistic.
The thumb on these gloves is a ‘Sweat-X’ thumb with a microfiber suede coating, which comes in useful for wiping sweat off your forehead mid-workout. When I’m training, I frequently find myself awkwardly wiping sweat away with the sleeve of my T-Shirt, thus these have come in helpful. If you’re doing a very strenuous workout, you could find that you’re trying to wipe away more perspiration than the thumb can dry, and they’ll feel a little damp, but if you only use it once in a while, it appears to work fine.
The inner lining is nice and soft, and I haven’t experienced any problems with the fabric bunching up in the usual trouble spots such as around the fingers. The texture isn’t completely smooth or silky, but it isn’t scratchy or too synthetic either.
Craftsmanship, padding, and protection of T3 gloves
The T3s comes with four layers of Crush Zone™ foam, while most high-priced gloves on the market are made with three layers of foam padding. Before you even start striking anything, you can feel the support as you put these gloves on for the first time.
The grip bar is in a good spot, and the hand compartment is also in a good spot. There’s enough room within, but your hand feels protected without being overly squished by the padding. The fingers and thumb all fit snugly in the compartment, with the fingers resting comfortably at the compartment’s end and the thumb in a natural-feeling position.
Our impression is that the microfiber coating isn’t as durable as a leather covering, but that’s a relatively rare event, and other than that, I’ve had no problems with the thumb-on pads, bag training, or sparring.
While the dual wrist straps are quite supportive, they are, however, a little more difficult to put on and remove than a single strap. You can’t slide your hand in and out without undoing both straps, and it takes some getting used to if you aren’t used to the two-strap system. The longer you use the gloves, the more comfortable you become with removing the straps, but it’s still an extra step when removing or putting them on.
We’ve been using the 16oz version of these gloves, which has plenty of padding as you’d expect. Although there is no hard contact or a lot of bounce when you punch, the cushioning is a tad on the hefty side.
Instead, your knuckles sink in slightly, with the padding virtually absorbing the force. I don’t believe these gloves require much of a break-in period because they felt almost identical out of the box as they do now. The gloves are wonderful for many types of training and would make good sparring gloves for striking, but I’ve found them to be most useful for hitting Thai pads, where the support can help with alignment when pounding strikes in.
What is the fit and comfort of the Hayabusa T3?

Although Hayabusa T3 may feel a little tighter than usual for a few days if you like a hand wrap, they will mold to your hands with wraps after that.

For example, if I play the piano, I have to use IMF, but I can’t play the piano without IMF. I don’t think that it would be comfortable to play the piano without IMF.
I used IMF in the clinic for a long time. It’s very comfortable, but it’s also very difficult to use. It’s difficult to use because it has a lot of force. You need to get used to it, and you need to get used to using it.

Is Winning’s wrist support good?
For the same reason, I don’t recommend a glove with too much wrist support because you can get your wrists to hurt. The Winnings’ wrist support is just enough to keep your wrists from hurting and give you a good fit without making it too tight.
I had a problem with my left hand. I could only punch straight with that hand, no hooks or uppercuts. The Winnings has a very high wrist support. It’s more than enough to help my hand recover. I’ve had trouble with this in the past with other gloves, but the Winnings was the only one that didn’t hurt my hand.
As I have shown in my Tokushus vs. Pro Boxer video, these gloves are much more durable than the Tokushus and also more comfortable. The problem with the Tokushus is that they are very thin and don’t have a lot of padding. I would say that they are like punching in a paper bag. If you have a hard punch you will be sore after throwing it.
The Winnings on the other hand are much thicker and offer a lot more padding than the Tokushus. The Winnings are also much more durable than the Tokushus. I have thrown them for about 3 years now and they are still holding up. They are still as comfortable as when I first got them.
Overall the protection and padding are amazing and without a doubt my favorite. I consider it the best padding for any situation but specifically sparring because not only does it protect your hands but it also protects your sparring partner.
Are Winning gloves comfortable?
Part of the reason why my Winnings have become my go-to gloves is because of their comfort. To further explain and give a little insight let me mention my other main gloves. I used some C17s for sparring because the padding was very similar to Winning. I got the Tokushus because I heard their protection is incredible, especially the wrist.
Absolutely no hand cramps and a decent amount of protection.
I’ve been using these for about a year now, and they’re still going strong. They’re comfortable and have enough padding to take a beating. I’m 5’9″ and 165lbs and they fit me just fine. I don’t wear them all the time, but when I do they are my go-to gloves.
These are a great pair of boxing gloves. The sizing is perfect for me and the padding is excellent. I love the Velcro wrist strap because it keeps the gloves on tight and doesn’t pull on my wrists. These gloves are great for sparring and training.
Definitely worth the price tag.
My second pair of gloves is the S&M Gloves. I have the original S&M glove and the M&S. I’ve had them for about three years now and they are my favorite gloves I own. They are very comfortable and durable.
The original S&M was the first glove I ever owned. I got it when I was around 12 years old and I loved it. I bought it again in high school when I was looking for a glove to use with my tennis racket. I’ve used it in every sport since then. I love the way it fits my hand and I love the feel of the leather.
The liner Winning uses is also top-notch. It’s a very soft nylon liner. Between rounds, during breaks, I usually scratch the liner with the tip of my fingers because of how soft it feels. The liner and the padding make for a very pleasant cushion.
Winning is without a doubt the most comfortable glove I own. As I stated earlier, my hands never cramp up, they never get tired, and they never even remotely hurt. Every aspect works well together, from the padding to the liner, to the thumb, even the leather, everything makes for a very enjoyable glove.
Are Winning gloves made of genuine leather?
On the whole, it is more durable than other types of leather.
When buying leather for boxing gloves, you should also pay attention to the color. The color of the leather should be rich and deep. It should not be gray or white. The leather should have a natural sheen to it. It should be firm and dense. If the leather is too soft, it will not hold up well to punching. It may even break apart when hit.
The leather used for boxing gloves should be of good quality. The leather should be tough and resilient. It should be able to withstand the punishment of the punches without breaking apart. If the leather is too soft, it will not be able to absorb the impact of the punches.
You can choose to buy Winning gear in either real leather or synthetic option. I’ve been told that Winning uses Lorica (made in Italy), and is known as the highest quality synthetic leather possible. It looks and feels very much like real leather and very hard to tell the difference.
Furthermore, the stitching on the thumb and finger sections are so tight that you can’t even see where they are stitched together. The only issue with the stitching is that it seems to be a bit on the thick side, and it’s not as smooth as the stitching on the palm side.
The glove itself is also pretty much the same as every other glove that I’ve tried. It’s thin and light, but it’s not super thin or light. It’s about average. It’s got a pretty good amount of padding in the palm, but not too much.
Will I look good with Winning gloves?
As I’ve mentioned before these gloves are beautiful, they are a work of art. Out of all of my gear, I take the most care of my Winning FG2900 and MS-600s because I don’t want to see even the slightest mark on them. The design of these gloves is just so clean and perfect.
On the whole, I like the look and feel of the gloves. They are very comfortable and they fit well. I’ve been wearing them for about a week now and I don’t think I can go back to my Hayabusa T3s.
Since they are not meant to be worn for long periods of time, the knuckles can get tired and the material will start to tear.
I have been wearing these gloves for about a month now and I am very happy with them. They fit my hand perfectly and I love the feel of the material. The only downside to these gloves is that they do not come in a wide variety of colors. You can only choose from black, blue, gray, and white.
These gloves are not cheap but they are worth the money. They are comfortable, durable, and affordable. If you want to get some gloves for yourself, you should definitely check out these gloves.
Such a vibrant color, such soft leather. Even the liner looks incredible on these gloves. If you look on the inside the blueliner looks like soft blue waves. Everything about these gloves is inviting, they make you want to use them. Hands down my favorite design of any glove.
When it comes to looks though their stock Velcro doesn’t look too good. The Velcro closure doesn’t hurt the performance or protection but it just looks strange and out of place because of its size. It’s a rather flimsy Velcro strap that just does not suit the glove. If you go with Velcro I recommend ordering custom and asking for a three to four-inch Velcro closure because not only will it look better but it’ll also offer more wrist support.

Ring to Cage c17 Padding
Just like Winning these use layered padding. Due to the padding, they have a broken in feel right out of the box. As soon as you get them you can go and spar right away. When it comes to the protection they’re almost on par with Winning.
As good as the padding is I have managed to punch through it when using the 16oz gloves. A good left hook on the heavy bag and I could feel every knuckle connect. This didn’t hurt my hand at all but it’s something worth noting because I haven’t managed to do this with my 14oz MS-500s.
This is because of how soft the Ring to Cage C17’s padding is, it’s slightly less dense than Winning’s. Understand that this has only happened on the heavy bag and not during sparring. Also, I punched through 16oz gloves while using double the knuckle padding that I would use on my Winnings.
Ring to Cage c17 Protection
One thing to take into consideration though is that the wrist support is not as good as Winning especially the Velcro versions. While I haven’t hurt my wrists using them, I do feel some shock when throwing left hooks. I ended up getting R2C’s wrist pad to help add more support. Again, I never damaged my wrists while using these gloves but I felt the shock of the impact shoot through.
Most sparring partners even preferred getting hit by the 12oz C17s instead of my 16oz Tokushus, I agree with them too. Getting hit by the Tokushus or Powerlocks is best described as a thudding, jarring feel, it’s like you can almost feel it hurting your brain while the C17s feel more comforting and more like a stinging feel rather than a jarring one.
Getting hit obviously still hurts but these gloves do a much better job than 95% of the gloves out there at protecting sparring partners. The C17s and Winnings are the best sparring gloves I’ve ever used, hands down.
These R2C gloves are without doubt all-purpose gloves. Just like Winning, these gloves do an amazing job not only protecting the user but the sparring partner as well. They perform incredibly no matter what you put them through. We recommend the 16oz for bag work while the 12oz for mitts. In our opinion, though the C17s are best used for sparring.
Are the R2C c17s comfortable?
Due to the padding and materials used, the comfort of these gloves is impeccable. The liner used is almost identical to Winning. It’s very soft, inviting, just overall perfect and does an amazing job at managing sweat. My only real gripe with the comfort of the C17s is an obnoxiously rough tag that they use. My 12oz gloves had the tag on the outside, a quick cut with some scissors got rid of it fast. My 16oz gloves on the other hand, the tag is sewn on the roof of the wrist liner which is just uncomfortable and ridiculous. I actually have to wrap further down my forearm just so I don’t feel the tag scratch me.
The padding does a great job at molding to your hand. Never once have I felt any discomfort while using these. The hand compartment is also on the wider side which means I can use more hand wraps to add support. Even when using one Le Roy wrap for my knuckles and one Mexican style wrap for my wrist, the gloves still feel perfect.
The thumb is again inspired by Winning. The C17s use a straight thumb which helps you make the most ideal fist. While the thumb used by Winning is slightly better this one is still incredible. I have found that the thumb on the 12oz gloves is a little short while on the 16oz the padding ends before the actual end of the thumb. You can feel where the padding stops on the roof of the thumb and while this does not cause any issue it is a little weird and definitely not something I find in my Winnings.
Overall the comfort of these gloves really does rival Winning. There aren’t many gloves out there that can offer this type of comfort. One of the main reasons as to why I picked up some 16oz C17s was because of the comfort. I wanted some new bag gloves because the Hayabusas caused my hands to cramp up fast. The C17s have never caused this on the other hand and they offer almost identical protection.
How is the quality of the R2C c17 gloves?
The materials used are incredible. The liner and foams used are extremely similar to Winning, almost exactly the same. The leather on the other hand isn’t anywhere near Winning level but it’s a great workhorse leather. It lasted very well for me no matter what I put it through. The minor issue with the leather is that some consider it sort of ugly, it’s very flat, very simple, and just boring overall. Personally, I like it though, not as much as my Winning but I like the look especially after a little leather conditioner.
My black 12oz gloves had some issues, nothing serious though. For example, there was loose stitching on the wrist logo, bubbling of the leather, the piping was not cut clean it looked like someone just ripped it, the leather of the piping also had leather scratched off. None of those lowered the performance but they were definitely unnecessary mistakes.
The red 16oz are in much better shape overall. The stitching is better, overall neat and clean. The piping ends still looked terrible but none of the leather was scratched off. The only real issue was that one of the thumbs was sort of flattened but that’s due to poor packaging, again no big deal and the thumb is still comfortable.
Both the 12oz and 16oz C17s are true to weight. The 12oz weighed in at 12.3oz for the right glove and 12.1oz for the left. The left 16oz glove weighs 16.2oz while the right is 16.1oz. Both variants have evenly distributed weight which means they don’t bend at the wrist. They do feel a little top-heavy but nothing extreme and again there’s no give at the wrist at all.
Do the Ring to Cage gloves look good? How is the design?
Truly the best way to describe the overall design of these gloves is by calling them, “flattened Winnings.” They have a much more flat design which isn’t a bad thing at all, it does make the glove feel slightly bigger due to the width though. The flat profile offers a wider hand compartment which personally I consider an improvement as Winning is a tad snug.
Because of the soft foam and straight thumb, these gloves allow you to make an ideal fist. Usually, because of my small hands and the design of most gloves, I can’t truly grip a grip bar as well as I should be able to. That’s not the case with the C17s though, both the 12oz and 16oz, I can make a perfect fist and truly grip the bar. As I mentioned before, the straight thumb on both gloves do have slight issues but they’re not complete flaws. They’re more slight annoyances but they still don’t ruin the overall design.
A quick summary for the design is just like I said, flat Winnings. They aren’t exact clones, that’s not what R2C was going for and they definitely aren’t cheap knock-offs. The gloves are Winning inspired with slight changes that actually help the overall design. For example, the wider hand compartment is better for bigger people as opposed to the smaller, compact Winning.
R2C also used a standard Velcro closure which in my opinion is a better design choice than Winnings out of place, thin Velcro strap. I wish R2C implemented vent holes in their C17s as well, while they aren’t needed they would have been a welcomed addition. R2C also uses a small elastic for the wrist to prevent the piping from bunching up on the Velcro variants.
Are R2C c17s expensive?
The price is probably the best quality R2C 17C gloves have. For around $100 and an extra $30 or so for custom versions, you get Winning style gloves for half the price of actual Winnings. I have to say that’s absolutely incredible. I own one pair of Winnings and two pairs of C17s just because of that $100 price tag.
The C17s are obviously more affordable and because of that and the performance, they’re definitely the perfect alternative to Winning. Also, keep in mind that you have a much better chance of getting the C17s on sale than you do with Winnings. As a side note though, while these gloves are high quality, durable gloves, they don’t match Winning in that aspect because Winning’s $200 price tag is also justified.
Therefore I’d recommend these over Winning if you can’t afford Winning.
I would say that they are the best value for money gloves on the market. They are comfortable, fit well and perform well.
They have good range of movement and grip. I have been using them for a few years now and have not had any issues.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good glove at a good price.
The C17s truly are incredible gloves. Just like my Winning it’s hard to find any real cons. R2C was very successful in making a more affordable Winning alternative. The overall performance and design truly do rival Winning all in all for half the price.
